Consistent service, as always

Got the Publisher Extra upgrade again. It downloaded the PDF pages fine, just like last year. Good for what I need to look up for family history stuff, always reliable. Easy to renew.

Decent research tool, some issues

I signed up for the Basic Subscription last month to check out some specific true crime archives. The search function worked pretty well for finding old articles. I noticed some of the images were a bit hard to read even when zoomed in, but most were clear enough. Saving clippings was straightforward. It took a little while to get used to the interface, but I eventually figured it out. Customer support answered my question about image quality in two days, which was okay. It's a solid tool for research if you're not expecting perfect scans every time.

Hey, thinking about signing up for Newspapers.com. Heard there's a free trial floating around, is that still a thing? Don't wanna commit if it's not what I'm looking for.

Yeah, they usually have a 7-day free trial. I used it when I first signed up. Just make sure to cancel before the week is up if you don't want to get charged.

Can confirm, it's pretty standard to get that 7-day trial. Good way to browse around and see if it has the papers you need for your research without paying right away.
